Was This The Best Music Video Ever?

Sorry, the YouTube imbedding was disabled, so you need to follow this link.

Maybe I'm just tired, but Warrant makes me smile. :) It's just too bad that the image quality is so bad. Oh well. Enjoy this fine song...

No, Steve, this was NOT the best music video ever.

So Allen, what IS the best music video ever?

I always liked Aha's Take On Me. Just watched it again on Google video (at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=379399441132904905). Soooo totally dated, but still so good.

I don't know...I just watched it again and I don't know how it could be improved upon. Everything about it is so wonderful. The clothes... the "acting"...so good...

...Brings a tear to my eye.

I'm not sure. Take On Me is pretty good, but I think I'm going to have to nominate Thriller. It's the first truly epic music video. Spare me the Michael Jackson jokes, we all know that back in the early 80's Jackson was awesome, and the video to Thriller was really something special.

As far as Warrant is concerned... I just can't go there. I'm glad you like it and all, but I just can't bear late-80's hair-band butt-rock.

Your mileage may vary.

You won't get ant Michael Jackson jokes from ME! I LOVED that video back in the day. Thriller is still pretty amazing. I would put that in my top 3, easily.

Take On Me is also a classic. Love it!

We're so OLD SCHOOL!

In MY day, we didn't have i-pods, m-pegs, or dvds or any of that hooey. We had videos on television, they put them on and we watched them like zombies. Didn't have to choose 'em, it was take it or leave it! We had Martha Quinn to tell us if they were cool or not. And that's the way it was and we LIKED it!

What ever happened to Martha Quinn? And all those other classic VJ personalities???
